Horse Powertrain presented a new engine

In 2024, Horse Powertrain was created, 45% of which is owned by Geely, 45% by Renault Group, and 10% by Aramco, that is, the state-owned national oil company of Saudi Arabia. The company was created to develop, produce and supply engines to the brands Renault, Geely, Volvo, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Proton.

Now Horse Powertrain has presented the Horse 12 project – a three-cylinder turbo engine with a volume of 1.2 liters, which is distinguished by a “diesel” compression ratio of 17:1, as well as an impressive thermal efficiency indicator of 44.2%.

According to the authors of the project, a middle-class car equipped with such an installation will consume only 3.3 liters of renewable fuel per 100 km – this figure is immediately 40% lower than the results shown by modern cars.

The confiscated Lamborghini was sold to “whoever needs it” for only 10 million rubles. BelAZ developed a “tsar loader” for quickly loading dump trucks. The Russians switched to Chinese-assembled Mazdas.

Meanwhile, the editors of Motor magazine, having studied the official price lists, found out that Belarusian motorists can purchase the flagship Geely model significantly cheaper than Russians.
