In China, the price of the new Audi A6L decreased by 1.3 million rubles

Pre-sales of the new Audi A6L have started in China. The model from the FAW-Audi joint venture has noticeably fallen in price: the price reduction relative to its predecessor amounted to 122,900 yuan (1.3 million rubles). The starting point is 323,000 yuan (3.6 million rubles). This discount is associated with a drop in Audi sales in the Chinese market. CarNewsChina reports this.

For the Chinese market, traditional brands often release extended versions of models – like the BMW X3L or Audi Q5L. This is because in China, the size of the car directly affects the status. On March 10, FAW-Audi opened pre-orders for the Audi A6L, which is 210 mm longer than the global version.

The new Audi A6L is based on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) platform, which also powers the Audi Q5L launched in January. The design is made in the corporate style: a large radiator grille, aggressive bumpers and sharp headlights. At the rear there are two-tier lights.

Dimensions of the new Audi A6L: 5142 mm in length, 1887 mm in width and 1464 mm in height. Compared to the foreign version, it is 210 mm longer, 1 mm wider and 7 mm higher. The wheelbase has increased by 127 mm – to 3066 mm. As a result, the A6L almost caught up with the flagship A8, losing only 178 mm to it.

Formally, the Audi A6L has a five-seater interior, but due to the high tunnel in the back, only four can comfortably fit. Rear seat passengers enjoy spaciousness, separate climate control, Type-C connectors, adjustable backrests and wireless charging in the armrest. The driver and front passenger get three screens: an 11.9-inch instrument panel, a 14.5-inch central display and a 10.9-inch screen for the passenger.

Previously, the best-selling SUV in Russia was named.
