According to the publication of RBC, the country’s authorities discuss new amendments to the rules of the road traffic, which regulate the use of personal mobility (SI). In particular, the government can introduce a complete ban on riding on sidewalks, as well as change the classification of such technology. At the same time, the date of approval of the future document is still unknown.

In addition to the ban on riding on sidewalks, the authorities are considering the possibility of introducing priority places for users of electric scooters. Such locations may include bike paths and the right side of the roads. In addition, SIM users can allow pedestrian zones with non -intensity traffic.
