In Russia, they organize the JAC assembly: there are already four factories in the country

Viktor Naschansky, Deputy General Director of Jack Car, confirmed the Autovzglyad portal that the automaker reached an agreement on the localization of several models in Russia. The representative of the JAC explained: the organization of the assembly will offer more favorable prices, increase sales, as well as apply for public procurement and state support.

Currently, in Russia de facto there are four “joint” plants with the JAC company: Muscovites are gathering in Moscow, Pikaps and Sollers Coarse Van, in the Elabuzhsky district of Tatarstan, are half -rolling trucks, van and Sollers minibuses, and in the Naberezhnye Chelnyes – Little -tonnage trucks KAMAZ “Compass”. There are no details about the future factory with products under the maternal brand of JAC.

Viktor Naschansky believes that the localization of production can launch a transition period, and in the moment the JAC sales is possible in the moment, but in the long run the position of the automaker will only intensify. At the same time, in the Chinese office they planned a financial model in advance with an increase in the key rate of up to 23%, so they could prepare for this, and the current situation with the need to subsidize the JAC loans does not bother.

In 2025, Jac plans to bring to the Russian market the updated JS6 crossover, RF8 minivan and a full -size JS9 SUV. Two models from the list are localized under the Sollers brand, and it can be assumed that JAC and Sollers cars can be produced in some factories. According to unofficial data, in Russia, the assembly of Jac hybrid pickups is also localized.
