Lightness price: Land Rover introduced the exclusive Range Rover Sport SV Carbon

Land Rover has made its most powerful SUV, Range Rover Sport SV, more exclusive and light. So a special modification of Carbon Edition appeared. The main feature of this version is the active use of carbon fiber, which made it possible to significantly reduce the mass of the car – by 76 kilograms compared to the standard Range Rover Sport SV.

This ease is achieved thanks to the external carbon body kit, additional inserts of this material and carbon fiber elements on the hood. Even the edging of the exhaust systems is made of carbonate. Carbon Edition also dominates carbon fiber. It is decorated with the backs of sports front chairs and the front panel, emphasizing the technological and sports character of the model.

The appearance is complemented by standard forged 23-inch wheels. But they are optionally provided for replacing them with full-fledged carbon fiber discs that work in pairs with carbon-ceramic brakes. Also, buyers will be able to choose one of the four new shades of body painting specially added to the Carbon version.

The power plant power is not different from the Range Rover Sport SV. The car is equipped with a powerful 4.4-liter V8 engine developing 635 horsepower and 800 Newton-meters of torque. However, a decrease in mass by 76 kilograms can potentially make this version a little more dynamic than the standard SV, which is already impressive – acceleration of up to 96 kilometers per hour takes only 3.6 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited at a mark of 290 kilometers per hour.

The minimum price of the Range Rover Sport SV Carbon Edition starts at 165,045 British pounds (about 17.56 million rubles). This is 25 thousand pounds more expensive than the basic version of the Range Rover Sport SV.
