New Chinese cars will become more expensive in Russia

The director of the analytical agency Autostat, Sergei Tselikovsky, said this in a commentary to Kommersant. He believes that over the next year the cost of models from the Middle Kingdom in our country may increase by 10 percent or even more.

Tselikov said that already at the beginning of 2025, the minimum increase in the cost of new Chinese cars in the country will be ten percent. The expert also expects that brands from China may adjust prices upward during the year due to the weakening of the ruble.

At the beginning of December, experts spoke about changes in the cost of Chinese cars in Russia. By the beginning of winter, a number of brands from the Middle Kingdom adjusted prices for their models upward.
