Now Porsche hinted at the new crossover, which will not completely receive a “battery” option at all – it will be released with an internal combustion engine and a hybrid installation.

According to the results of the annual meeting, Porsche said that she was considering the possibility of releasing a new crossover “with internal combustion engines and hybrid power plants”.

If it appears, the Suv line of the brand will be available with the full range of units. It will include completely “green” Macan, Cayenne with three types of installations and a new model. Electric Cayenne, by the way, Porsche planned to present at the end of 2025 or at the beginning of 2026.

What kind of novelty will be is still unknown. Perhaps this will be a three-row Cross of the D-class, so far known under the intra-factory index of K1. A couple of years ago it was reported that the flagship would be completely electric, but Porsche could change her mind due to the slow development of the “battery” transport segment.

Meanwhile, Porsche is preparing for mass staff contractions. Due to the fall in sales of electric cars and a difficult economic situation, the company will fire 1.9 thousand people in the next five years.
