Russian engineers have developed a car tent with solar panels

A technological car carrier called Slim Solar was released by Everest Touring. According to the developers, the design of the car carrier provides for the connection of the solar panels to the battery of the machine to ensure constant charging the latter. As a result, it will be possible to write out gadgets, as well as household appliances, including a kettle, table electric stove or coffee machine from the on -board network.

In a folded state, the height of the car is only ten centimeters. The case is made of aviation aluminum, so the mass does not exceed 47 kilograms. Two people can accommodate inside. The configuration includes internal lighting, insulation, soft casing and mosquito nets. In addition, the tent is equipped with a special mechanism that allows you to decompose it in just a minute.

To use solar panels, the user will need an inverter. In this case, the permissible connection power will depend on the battery of the car. In addition to gadgets and household appliances, the machine’s battery can also be charged from the solar panels. With a standard capacity of 60 ampere hours, the charging time will be about a day.

In November last year, the same developers presented the lightest car tent in the world. Its mass was only 42 kilograms.
