At the Mercedes-Benz plant in Rashtatt launched mass production of CLA of the third generation. Previously, the model was produced in Hungary, but in the new generation its assembly was organized at the enterprise, where only A-SLASS, B-Class, GLA and EQA were previously produced. Serial production began with electrical versions of CLA, hybrids will stand on the conveyor in the fall, and later Mercedes-Benz Cla will “write down” at the Chinese factory Beijing Benz, the joint enterprise Mercedes-Benz and BAIC.
Mercedes-Benz Cla changed the generation in March this year. The model adopted the status of the “input ticket” to the world of Mercedes-Benz, in other words, from now on, it is CLA that acts as an entry-level car. Buyers will be offered a choice between sedan, Cla Shooting Brake and two crossovers – GLA and GLB of new generations.

The model was based on the MMA platform (Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture), designed for both ICE cars and electric cars. So far, the KLA gamma includes electrical modifications with the new 800-volt electric system, both with the rear-wheel drive and with the full. And at the end of 2025, three hybrid versions will enter the market with the installation on the base of the “turbocharging” 1.5 new Fame family (Family of Modular Engines), developed in cooperation with Geely.
