All enterprises of the departed foreign companies in the Kaluga region returned to work in the middle of last year. This was told by the head of the region Vladislav Shapsha during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin. According to him, in 2025, the ex-site of Volkswagen will produce more than 110 thousand cars.
Last year, enterprises in the Kaluga region gathered about 13 thousand cars, and this is only a debugging, said Shapsha. In total, there are 30 interconnected enterprises in the region, which work 10 thousand people gathering cars and trucks. The region returns to the pre -crisis level of production, assured the governor.
The ex-PEUGEOT-CITROEN, which is also PSMA RUS, will produce about 25 thousand cars of the Chinese brand Haval in 2025. Earlier it was reported that the assembly of M6 crossovers will be transferred there from Tula. The first machine equipment entered the plant in January.
