Since its opening, the country’s main exhibition has been the most important platform for demonstrating the achievements of the automotive industry. Now this tradition is being revived. Visitors of the VDNH “Promotion” automobile festival, which will be held on August 2 and 3, is waiting for the largest automobile exposition of Russia. At the site of the main exhibition of the country, guests will be demonstrated by historical and modern cars – from the first crew of the design of 1896 to modern serial domestic models. In total, more than 500 cars can be seen, including Russo-Balt, promising developments of the LADA brand, a legendary one and a half, an autonomous truck of the future and many others.

“Russian team” and an exhibition of technical museums of Russia

On the main alley, one of the key exhibition locations of the auto -festival will be located – the exhibition “The national team of Russia”. Here, guests will be lined up in chronological order according to the release date of 16 most important cars in the history of domestic automotive industry. To open this row will be a car of Freze and Yakovlev – the first Russian serial car presented by the public at the Nizhny Novgorod exhibition in 1896, and will close it by Aurus Senat 2025.

An exhibition of technical museums in Russia promises to be an equally impressive event of the auto -festival. The line of historical models of domestic brands from factory museums or private collections that have unique car specimens will be represented here. Guests will be able to see the most extensive exposition of rare cars – about 100 copies.

It will be possible to see the exposition of urban transport as part of the auto -festival. VDNH guests will be able to admire this open -air technique. Together with city buses, VDNH guests will be represented by one of the main ground liners of the entire Eastern Europe – the Hungarian Ikarus 256. In our country, these buses run between cities, drove excursion groups, served foreign delegations and forever remained in the memory of people throughout the post -Soviet space as the most comfortable public transport.

The 80th anniversary of Moskvich, AvtoVAZ premieres, a collection of motorcycles

Also, not far from the Friendship of Peoples fountain, a unique exposition of the Moskvich brand car, covering the key stages of the history of the legendary brand. The exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of this automobile brand will tell about the contribution of AZLK to the development of the domestic automobile industry, its role in industry and the country’s culture. The entertainment program awaits guests here-the street performance “Citizens” and a circus interactive performance on Lisopropshaw retrovolesypes.

An AvtoVAZ exhibition will be a special event for the automobile community. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to evaluate the design, technical specifications and innovative solutions of new cars, which AvtoVAZ will present here to the general public.

And at the arch of the southern entrance, the guests of VDNH will be able to see a collection of motorcycles of different eras – from the first models of the beginning of the 20th century to modern sports and classic bikes, about 20 motorcycles of different models. As part of the entertainment program, concerts and dance workshops will be held on this site.

One of the most spectacular events of the holiday will be a demonstration of Lawraiders and the best models from leading world manufacturers. These cars with their low landing, bright design and unusual technical solutions will necessarily impress guests with originality and skill.

On the site near the Pavilion No. 510 “Glavovino” during the VDNH VDNH “Promotion” auto -festival, convertibles of different eras will be presented – a real personification of elegance. And visitors to the VDNH Avtnkh autofesture will be able to get acquainted with the legends of the world automotive industry at the exhibition of the same name, which will be located between the monument to V. I. Lenin and Pavilion No. 1 “Central”. Cars that left a mark in the history of the world auto industry, including Jaguar E-Type, Ford Mustang, Porsche 911, Chevrolet Corvette, Delorean DMC-12, Ferrari Testarossa, will be presented here.

In the Nalchik square, you can see the best models from leading world manufacturers. In the open -air exposition, more than 50 machines of different brands and eras will be presented – from classic retro cars to sports cars. Here, cult models of past decades from around the world will be collected here. Visitors will meet the Golden Age cars Mercedes-Benz and BMW, American Sports Corvette and Mustang, Japanese rally legends of Subaru and Mitsubishi, and, of course, the standard of automobile style from the brands of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati.

Saturated entertainment program

In the days of the VDNH Automobile Authority, a bright entertainment program is planned: live music, dance and creative master classes, theatrical performances, a thematic quest and, of course, a large festive concert dedicated to the birthday of VDNH. And on August 3, visitors will be able to plunge into the atmosphere of the 1990s. At 20:00 on the stage of the Green Theater, the Group “Combinations” will perform. Guests will be able to not only listen to music, but also take a memorable photo with the same cherry “nine” – a cult domestic car of the late last century.
