The most anticipated new cars in Russia in 2025: list

It was compiled by the Autostat agency, which surveyed dealers about the most promising new products. Sellers believe that the Lada Iskra, a new family of budget cars from AvtoVAZ, will definitely become a bestseller. As for the “Chinese,” the entry of new brands into the market will also continue, especially in the segment of crossovers and SUVs, but “not on the same scale as before.”

In a conversation with journalists, commercial director of the Pragmatika dealership network, Alexander Shaprinsky, called the upcoming Lada Iskra a potential bestseller in the domestic auto industry. According to plans, AvtoVAZ’s new product will hit the assembly line in the spring of 2025 – it will be produced on the same line on which the production of Granta liftbacks will continue. The Lada Iskra family will include a sedan, station wagon and its cross-version, which will be built on the localized French CMF-B platform with imported parts.

For the Iskra, a 1.6-liter engine with a capacity of 90 horsepower is announced in conjunction with a five-speed manual transmission, and an alternative will be a 106-horsepower unit of the same volume, working with a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT.

AvtoVAZ has again postponed the start of production of the Lada Iskra. Sales of the updated Omoda C5 have begun in Russia. How much does it cost Ramzan Kadyrov showed new Great Wall products for Russia

In addition to the Lada Iskra, Russia is waiting for the Chery Tiggo 9 – this model is also considered very promising in Pragmatics. This is the future flagship of the Chery SUV line: Russians will be offered it with a 2.0 petrol turbo engine with a capacity of 249 horsepower, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The drive is all-wheel drive, with a multi-plate clutch in the rear wheel drive, which locks in 0.1 seconds. The crossover accelerates from zero to one hundred in exactly eight seconds. Tiggo 9 should go on sale before the end of December.

The list of expected new products also includes the updated Omoda C5, which will have a new exterior design. The pre-reform C5 is included in the ranking of the best-selling crossovers on the Russian market and remains Omoda’s bestseller, so it is logical to assume that the restyled car will become just as popular.

Well, Haval’s line should be replenished with the H7 model – the Rolf dealer network expects that this “will be a successful case.” The F7 is built on the Lemon platform, which also underlies the Jolion and Dargo crossovers. The new product is predicted to have a 2.0-liter turbo engine, and later in Russia they will also expect a hybrid version based on a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine.
