The revenue of the Lada Izhevsk plant, which produces Largus, has grown sharply

With the launch of the Largus model, the company’s revenue increased by eight times, to 40.4 billion rubles, Interfax reports with reference to the financial report of AvtoVAZ. At the same time, the turnover of the factory became the highest with the pre -crisis 2019, when it reached 65 billion rubles. For comparison: during the Pandemia of Coronavirus, the site reflected 10-11 billion rubles of revenue each, and after the beginning of it, in 2022-2023, 3-5 billion rubles.

Initially, only Lada Vesta was produced at the LADA plant in Udmurtia. At the beginning of 2022, the company was preparing to launch Vesta NG, but in February it began and the plant went into a simple for a long time. In 2023, it became known that AvtoVAZ decided to transfer Vesta NG assembly to the main conveyor in Togliatti, and in Izhevsk to organize the production of Largus universal and van, including fully electric E-Largus.

The transfer of production by Lada Largus began in September 2023 and ended in January 2024. During this time, more than 1.2 thousand units of equipment were moved, mounted and launched. The transfer cost AvtoVAZ about two billion rubles, that is, twice as much as the transfer of Vesta from Izhevsk to Togliatti. The release of the Largus in Izhevsk began on May 15, 2024, and in September, E-Largus also stood on the conveyor.

By the end of 2024, the plant produced more than 35 thousand Lada Largus. Moreover, the thousandth car came off the conveyor three and a half weeks after the start of the assembly, and the enterprise overcame the mark of 10 thousand cars by the fall.

Lada Izhevsk revenue directly from the Lada Largus assembly amounted to 34.3 billion rubles at a cost of 32.8 billion and gross profit about 1.5 billion rubles. The net profit of the Izhevsk Automobile Plant in 2024 increased 3.4 times, approaching 1 billion rubles.
