The terms of the appearance of autonomous transport on public roads were reported in the press service of the Ministry of Transport based on the results of the meeting of the working group. By this time in the country, it is necessary to create uniform rules, as well as infrastructure for the safe operation of such machines.
The Ministry of Transport said that the formed regulatory framework will ensure the safety of the movement of unmanned vehicles on the roads. At the same time, the quality of the road surface, as well as the digital platforms integrated into the transport network and “smart” sensors will scale the use of drones throughout the country.
