One of the first export markets of the new Toyota Rav4 will be Kazakhstan

The portal kolesa.kz managed to get acquainted with a promising model. According to the publication in Kazakhstan, Toyota RAV4 will replace the generation in early 2026 with a minimum delay in relatively key markets in the United States and Japan. It is assumed that the CIS countries will bring the most conservative versions, although the “global” crossover has become a non -alternative hybrid.

Toyota Rav4 moved to the sixth generation last week. The model will be officially delivered to 180 countries, and Russia is not among them. But Kazakhstan was among the priority markets: the neighbors may remain atmospheric gasoline engines 2.0 and 2.5 in combinations with the variator and an 8-speed automatic, respectively.

Also in Kazakhstan, a self-loading HEV hybrid with an electromechanical variator of ECVT and an electric motor from the rear can be offered. Such a power plant will issue 219 horsepower. Currently, the country is officially selling crossovers of Japanese assembly with a mechanical all-wheel drive, variator and atmospheric 2.0 (173 hp, 203 Nm) at a price of 19 to 23.6 million tenge (2.95-3.67 million rubles).

Until 2022, Kazakhstan offered Toyota cars of the Russian assembly from the plant near St. Petersburg, but then the company was forced to switch to deliveries from the Japanese factory and significantly increase prices. Whether the neighbors will have the whole variety of new RAV4 is an open question, because so far the “off -road” version of Woodland and the “charged” GR Sport are not declared for all markets.
